CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our Services that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an e-mail to info@InsureSign.com.
Our Services are not intended for users under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 may provide any information to or on the Website or our other Channels. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information in connection with your use of our Services or on or through any of the features on the Websites, register with us, make any purchases through the Website or our Apps, use any of the interactive or public comment features we provide or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a user under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a user under 18, please contact us at info@InsureSign.com.
Upon authorization from the user InsureSign will collect, store, and use Google user data provided by the Google People API. InsureSign will store a user’s contact data and then provide said data for use in the e-signature process. This data is not intended to be shared with anyone other than the authorized user.
Pages of our Apps, Websites and our emails may contain small electronic files know as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags and single-pixel gifs) that permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related app or site statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain content and verifying system and server integrity). NOTICE InsureSign will inform Users about the purposes for which it collects and uses personally identifiable information, the types of third parties to which InsureSign discloses that information, and the choices and means, if any, InsureSign offers Users for limiting the use and disclosure of personally identifiable information.
GENERAL USE AND DISCLOSURE INFORMATION
Data Integrity; Choice. InsureSign will use personally identifiable information only in ways that are compatible with the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently authorized by a User. InsureSign will take reasonable steps to ensure that such information is relevant to its intended use, accurate, complete and current. InsureSign will offer Users the opportunity to choose (opt-out) whether their personally identifiable information is to be disclosed to a third party or used for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the User.
Customer Support. Contact information provided in connection with problems, comments or requests is used only to respond to those problems, comments or requests and may be provided to third parties as necessary to respond to the comment, problem or request.
Marketing/Special Offers/Solicitation from InsureSign. InsureSign may use a User’s information to provide updates and other business purposes related to making available the features and functions of the Services. InsureSign also may use information a User provides to make a User aware of new products or special offers or promotions. InsureSign will abide by requests from you to discontinue such use.
Other Disclosures. InsureSign may disclose a User’s personally identifiable information if required to do so by law or if InsureSign has a good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to protect and/or defend the rights and interests of InsureSign or others. InsureSign may, as permitted by applicable law, disclose your personally identifiable information to or third parties in connection with an investigation of fraud, infringement, piracy or other unlawful activity and you expressly authorize InsureSign to make such disclosures.
Domestic and International Use. All personally identifying information collected by InsureSign may be used in the United States or if the Services are undertaken by InsureSign for a foreign User, such information may be transferred to the United States for use of the Services, or such information may be transferred outside of the United States and you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.
Service Providers. InsureSign may disclose a User’s personally identifiable information to contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business.
Contractual Obligations; Billing and Collection. We will use Information to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
Aggregated De-identified Data. De-identified data that does not identify a User may be used for InsureSign’s internal business purposes, for marketing and promotional use; or for sale to interested audiences. When we provide this information, we perform appropriate procedures so that the data does not identify you and we contractually prohibit recipients of the data from re-identifying it back to you.
ACCESS, REVIEW AND MODIFICATIONS TO YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
If you opt to receive marketing information from InsureSign, you may access, modify, remove, correct or update personally identifiable information by contacting InsureSign. InsureSign may retain transactional history in order to document a transaction you may have had with us.
LINKS TO OTHER SITES
As a part of the Services, we may provide links to web sites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the information collection or privacy practices or the content of those third party sites. Users should check the privacy policies of any site prior to use.
InsureSign treats data as an asset and therefore stores personally identifiable information it obtains using appropriate safeguards. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, InsureSign has put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect personally identifiable information in its possession from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
- Your account and your documents are password protected in a manner intended to prevent unauthorized access.
- Communications and documents emailed through our Services that take advantage of our password protection features are encrypted with full AES 256-bit SSL security.
- All passwords and account data are encrypted with RSA keys.
- The data servers we use to provide the Services are housed in state-of-the art SAS 70 Type II secured data centers with redundant power and internet connectivity.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet and mobile platforms is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted through our App. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures we provide
