Q&A with Lani, our new Support Team Manager

LaniWe’d like to introduce you to Lani (full name Makanalani), our new, awesome manager of customer support.

A singer, a video-game champion and a talented clay-pigeon shooter, Lani is one of a kind!

InsureSign: Tell us a little about yourself.

Lani: I’m originally from Hawaii, and live in L.A. I love making people smile, writing video games, singing and “shooting.” In fact, I came in 5th place in a championship for the arcade game, “Big Buck Hunter,” the first woman to ever place in the top rankings! InsureSign: Tell us a little bit about your experience so far as part of the InsureSign Team.

Lani: Our customers are extremely loyal, and I love that. They’re willing to spread the word about us, and as a smaller company, that’s an amazing asset! They’re great about giving us suggestions too. Once with us, our customers know we value their opinions, and give us new ideas that we work hard to integrate into InsureSign.

InsureSign: What feedback have you gotten from customers?

Lani: I’ve heard from customers that we’re less expensive than DocuSign and that we’re much more hands on…we really work with our customers to ensure they get the most out of the software. We like to constantly reach out to customers – even if they’re not reaching out to us – to make sure they’re happy, let them know we’re thinking about them, and address any questions they might be pondering.

We also get many questions about mobile signing (something we make sure is turnkey). In the latest version of InsureSign, you can send out documents for signing at the same time as you send them via email. Our customers like that feature a lot!
